As you cross the river and go up the driveway you see this beautifully and very sympathetically restored house. With its stone walls, manicured gardens, spacious terraces and the swimming pool including an incorporated waterfall feature, you will not be disappointed with your choice. Within the 200 hectares of grounds there is a walnut grove which during the summer months provides avenues of green.
On the ground floor as you enter the main house you have a large hallway with a gallery balcony. There is a sitting room that opens out onto the large terrace for meals or just drinks watching the sun go down over the Grazalema and Los Alcornocales natural parks. There is also a well equipped open kitchen and dining area, and then a further living room with access to the pool area.
At the rear of the kitchen there is a small garden ideal for youngsters to run freely.
The villa has three bedrooms in the main house, all en suite. Two of these have both a/c for the summer months and heaters for the cooler times.
Adjoining the main building are two fabulous newly restored "cabanas". They have been done in sympathy with the rest of the house, lime cement, stone walls, thatched roofs and tiled floors. These also have en suites and
lovely views of the mountains and stream that runs to the rear of the property.
No expense has been spared furnishing this unique villa.
Everybody that has stayed here has barely left the property due to its serenity and wonderful restoration.
You can get basic supplies in the nearby town of Estacion de la Cortes about 4km, 9km away is the town of Cortes de la Frontera with a great selection of shops and restaurants.
There is a train station nearby that affords you easy access to Granada, Sevilla and several other must see locations.
The drive to the villa may seem long and tedious but I can guarantee when you arrive at the villa it will become insignificant!

You have two lovely large terrace areas which have seating and sunbeds for everyone. The pool is located to the side of the house and has a waterfall feature incorporated in the surround. |
