Set in a 200 hectare private estate in the Guadiario y Linda valley, this stylish house offers absolute privacy amidst natural beauty. The villa was newly constructed in 2005 to exacting standards, and has been decorated in a style that is both modern and tranquil. At the heart of this property is a gardened central patio with a water feature and walls painted in rich ochres. The clean design lines of the entrance hallway immediately invite relaxation. Here there is a coffee table and two luxurious armchairs looking onto the garden and beyond to the ample living room. The themes of serenity and simple elegance are continued in the living room. Apart from two 3-seater sofas, the central space is occupied by a low table and large cushions on the floor. The view from the hall is continuous through the patio garden, to the living room, to the exterior garden and an elegant infinite edge swimming pool, which appears to pour onto the walnut trees of the natural parks of Grazalema and Los Alcornocales. The three substantial bedrooms are tastefully and uniquely decorated with the careful use of warm modern fabrics and original artwork. The area is ideal for walkers and ramblers, being surrounded by the Sierra de Grazalema and near the Rio Guaduario. Horse riding, 4x4 excursions and abseiling are easily organised. Basic provisions may be purchased at Estacion de Cortes, which, at 4km, has a grocery store and two restaurants. For other items the town of Cortes de la Frontera, at 9km, offers many restaurants and shops as well as the opportunity to sample the local produce of wines and cheeses. A further 15 minutes drive will take you to Gaucin one of Andalucia’s famous white villages. Another 10 minutes further still is the city of Ronda, which makes an ideal day trip. The nearest beach is less than an hour’s drive from the house. Access to Grazalema is via an unpaved road. The villa Los Nogales is also found in this private estate but one cannot be seen from the other
