With all our properties being located in the western Costa del Sol, you need to keep the following in mind when leaving the airport by car: - Keep to the right hand lane when leaving the airport complex and pick up the N340 sign posted to Torremelinos and Cadiz. After approximately 2km, filter right onto the E15/N340 towards Benalmadena and then follow the directions to your holiday destination as provided by us.
Whilst a car is not essential for most of our properties, it can prove to be a very cost effective way of getting around whilst enjoying your stay. Giving you the freedom to roam around the area and take trips and excursions at your leisure, a hire car is a consideration that we cannot emphasise enough.
There are many car hire companies working around the Costa del Sol and many of these operate offices at Malaga Airport, so you may be able to arrange this upon your arrival however, we would recommend you pre-book your car so you can secure the best rate and reduce the formalities upon your arrival.
Taxis are in plentiful supply at Malaga Airport and throughout the Costa del Sol region. At the airport, the taxi rank is situated directly outside the arrivals lounge and they are in constant supply, avoiding the need to pre-book prior to arrival. Be aware that prices can vary quite dramatically and there have been reports of passengers being "fleeced" by some unscrupulous individuals. In order to combat this, you should always agree a price with the driver beforegetting in the cab. If you do not like the price quoted, just move along the line to the next taxi - the competition works wonders for the price!

Let the train take the strain - those of us that are slightly older will all remember this well known British Rail slogan, but it still holds true today. Malaga airport has its own railway station directly opposite the main terminal. From the arrivals lounge, take the lift to the departure lounge upstairs, exit to the upper car park area, turn immediately right and follow the signs over the footbridge. Details of the nearest railway station to your holiday property can be found on each property's page in this website.
The first train to Fuengirola leaves the airport at 0613 and subsequent trains are every half hour at 13 and 43 minutes past the hour. The last train departs at 2243.
